Line stops are the process of temporarily stopping the flow of the product in a pipe to perform maintenance on the system. Leaking pipes and valves, broken hydrant, pump station maintenance, and sewer line replacement are instances where a line stop can be utilized. Stops are performed as a single or as many needed to isolate the section of pipe. We can perform stops on most sizes, pressures, and products. Call for specific temperature and pressure ratings.
Blocking and restraint is a priority on line stops to ensure the integrity of the system. Without proper restraint, the pipe can shift causing the integrity of the system to be comprimised.
We keep several size sleeves in stock and can accomodate emergency or quick responses. Certain pipes have varying outside diameters and may need to be special ordered.
